 In class we read a text called ambush. I have never seen it before. The author of it has the same last name of my favorite actor.  After was a debate on if we thought it was morally correct for kill in the military. I was in between but good reasons for both sides.

 Today in class we read an informational text. The text was about video games. I agree with it about it being harmful to the youth. Video games addiction does need to be treated and is a serious problem. It reminds me of a friend I have that is always playing video games.

Good morning. Today was supposed to be a program but apparently it’s for seniors. So I think that as a class we deserve a free day. We should have a free day because it could give me time to prioritize my needs like relaxing. It is Friday so we deserve some type of break. Finally, providing break time makes us better students.

 Absent

 I presented my black owned businesses project in class today. Everyone had the same real estate which was SELL Atlanta. I presented well. I plan on visiting some places others put on their project.

 Today was a good day in class. We did vocabulary work. I know a few if the words already. I can’t wait so see what the text did this week is.

 Today was a nice day. We started on narrative writing. I am not a good narrative writer and I also do not enjoy writing them. I never liked them since they were introduced to me in 4th grade. I always tend to add too much info then don’t feel like doing the rest of the story. 

 Today in class we worked on our projects. I love black businesses. I am going to put a couple I know on the project.

 Today is a good day. I got one piece of candy so far. I have no valentines lol. We had a teacher name Ms.Cook teach a lesson today. She was really good. We really covered black history and Langston Hughes.

 Today we learned about Maya Angelou. I thought she was just a poet. I didn’t know she was know for other things too. A project is due Friday. There is also no school  Friday.

 Today I took my benchmark. Since I know much about American history it was pretty helpful. I was also interested in the topics more because  I like learning about it. I think I did good on it.

 Today was okay. I had to catch up because I missed yesterday. So I ended up doing 20 quotes and one day. I finished with 4 minutes to spare of class. There is a benchmark tomorrow and I am nervous.

 Did not come to school.

 In class we presented our one pagers. I am confident about how I presented mines. I realized I made my one pager more connected to me & my life than everyone else. I am ready to eat and get ready for the rest of my day.

 

 Today was a chill day. There was no lectures just turning in vocabulary and working on one pager. I finished my one pager over the weekend. Ready to present it tomorrow, Tuesday.

 Today in class we went over two Emily Dickinson’s poem as a claim. I don’t know why but I was very tired today & understanding her poems made it even more difficult. I am still not a big fan of her poems. Either I don’t relate or just don’t know what she is trying to convey.

 Today we followed a sheet to analyze a poem. I find Emily Dickinson’s poems really difficult to understand. I don’t know why this one was harder. I ended up finishing up and understanding the poem.
