 Today we did an assessment on fences. I finished my mini project. I check out my other classmates mini projects. My favorite was Malcolm’s facebook posts from Rose. I think I did good on my assessment.

 Today I took my final exam. It was based on the poems we had read before. I was confident about my answers to the Langston Hughes poems. I checked afterwards and see I got an 88.9 on the final exam. I am satisfied with that score.

 Today we went over over EOC. On the EOC we testing in room 306. I am prepared. I really hope I get an argumentative essay. I like writing those.

I, Too

 We started off class watching a video and answering a question about the purpose of life. Answering this question reminded me of the "Soul" where the man died and tried to find passion in life. At the end of the movie, the character teaches us to appreciate all the little moments that life has to offer. The poem "I, Too" made me remember that America wasn't always about equality and freedom.
